A safari in Ghana is an amazing experience that you will never forget. There are a few things to keep in mind when preparing for your trip, however, to make sure that everything goes smoothly. Here are some tips on how to prepare for a safari in Ghana:
1. Choose the right time of year to travel: The best time to see Ghana wildlife is during the dry season (December to April), as this is when animals congregate around water sources. However, be aware that temperatures can be extremely hot during this time of year. If you're not used to heat, it may be better to travel during the cooler months of June to September instead.
2. Get vaccinated: Be sure to check with your doctor or travel clinic about which vaccinations are recommended or required for travel to Ghana. The most important ones are yellow fever and meningitis, but you may also need others depending on your itinerary and where you're coming from.

3. Pack light and comfortable clothing: You'll want clothes that are loose-fitting and made from natural fibers like cotton, linen, or wool. It can get very hot during the day so pack shorts, T-shirts, and skirts or dresses in light colors. And don't forget a hat or scarf to protect against the sun! Long pants and long-sleeved shirts are a good idea for evening wear, when mosquitoes are more active.
4. Bring along insect repellent and sunscreen : Apply sunscreen often, especially during the hottest hours of the day. And be sure to pack insect repellent to keep mosquitoes and other pests away.
